Meet Your Teachers!

Fowler Parents,

We would like to inform all parents about our Fowler Middle School “Meet the Teacher” night on Tuesday, August 22^nd.  To kick-off the evening, there will be a PTA meeting in the FMS library at 5:30 pm, and we encourage all PTA members to attend.  Immediately following the PTA meeting, parents should go to the cafeteria where Fowler staff will be handing out student schedules for each family.  Parents should plan to arrive in our cafeteria prior to 6:00 pm, allowing for plenty of time to pick up your child’s schedule. If parents would like to avoid waiting in line to receive your child’s schedule of classes we highly encourage you to access your child’s schedule of classes through the Guardian Gateway.  At 6 pm, there will be a brief welcome and explanation of the evening schedule.  We are also including the bell schedule for this event at the bottom of this email.  At 6:05 all parents will be prompted to follow the mini-bell schedule below allowing parents to attend each of their child’s classes to meet teachers and hear about the exciting things your child will be doing over the course of this school year.  Our Meet-the-Teacher event will not provide parents with individual time to conference with our teachers. This event will conclude at 7:30 pm once you have had a chance to visit all 8 of your child’s classes. 

Our wonderful Fowler PTA will also be available in the cafeteria throughout the evening promoting PTA membership and donations to our “One Time” fundraiser. 

As a final reminder, we are anticipating a large participation at this event; therefore, parking on and around our campus will likely be a hindrance.  Carpooling or walking, for those who live close to our campus, would definitely help with our expected parking challenges. 

We are very excited about the year ahead at Fowler and hope that you plan to join us for this special evening.
